Beginning your wedding cake experience with Scholars Cakes, we will begin visualising your wedding cake together. 

Once your venue has been secured, clients can confirm my availability by completing the enquiry form or via email. I will respond to gain a brief understanding of your Wedding Day details, and based on the outline information you have provided, I will supply an initial fee as a starting point. Should you wish to proceed, a non-refundable deposit of £150 is kindly requested at this stage to secure your date.

The next step is my personal favourite part in our journey, your design consultation.

Collaborating with you, it is my aim to bring your aspirations for your Wedding Cake to life. Even if at the beginning this vision is not yet clear; by familiarising myself with details such as your wedding invite, venue setting, floral design and wedding gown - I can draw upon all these details as inspiration to realise what will become a stunning focal point at your wedding.

We will then start to sew the threads of how your cake could be displayed, be this with yourself or your planner. A full cake pricing will be sent to you at this stage.

Tasting Your Wedding Cake

Scholars Cakes offers a tasting selection of samples of the most popular cake flavours from my menu; these are sent at specific times of the year, on a Next Day Delivery service and are complimentary as part of your wedding cake booking.

If you would like your Tasting Experience in person, this can be arranged in conjuction with your design consultation.

In the lead up to your wedding day, Scholars Cakes will be liaising closely with your planner or venue, and your Floral Designer to ensure a smooth delivery, set-up and styling of your wedding cake, until the moment it is ready to be presented to you and your guests.
